Event Festivities: 14:00 KAGC 

Begin at your aircraft home base. Flight plan in any order, with KAGC the destination.

 

Sealed envelopes will be available at Mountain Laurel Aviation, KLBE; Morgantown Airport FBO, KMGW; Skyward Aviation FBO, KAFJ and Atlantic Aviation, KAGC.  

 

The event raffle takes place at Atlantic Aviation, KAGC at 14:00 where participants are instructed to hand over their accrued tickets. The winner will be determined and awarded the grand prize at KAGC.

 

Proceeds support the Clifford Ball Memorial Scholarship Fund AND The Aviation Foundation Scholarship at the U. S. Space & Rocket Center, Huntsville, AL.

 

Immediately following will be “hangar flying” and a well-deserved barbecue.  Foodie & pilot, Myles Lilley, will be the event Grill Master. (TAF thanks event host, Atlantic Aviation, KAGC,  food sponsor, Dollar Bank and participating FBO’s). 

 

Entry: $50 per player.

Space Camp Scholarships

In 2023, The Aviation Foundation initiated Space Camp Scholarships at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL.

 

The award in the 9 to 11 year-old division is presented to 9-year-old Olivia Martin, Honesdale, PA

 

Kameron Locy will attend the five-day 15–17 year-old division Advanced Space Academy.

 

Both awardees will attend their respective Space Camp programs in August 2023 with classroom and graduation photos to follow. Congratulations to Ms. Martin and Ms. Locy!                                  

Scholarship

The Aviation Foundation presented two Clifford Ball Memorial Scholarships, on May 23, 2023.  The outstanding Aircraft Maintenance Technician awardees are Austin John Wagler and Daniel Sullivan. Both students are now eligible for a Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics matching grant.

TAF extends compliments to Mr. Wagler and Mr. Sullivan on the achievement along with our best wishes for continuing successes in their new career field.
