The Aviation Foundation presented DeAndre Allen with the $2,500.00 Clifford Ball Memorial Scholarship.  In DeAndre’s own words, “becoming an Aircraft Maintenance Technician has been a dream of mine since I was a child.” TAF extends its most sincere congratulations to Mr. Allen graduated on October 4, 2022, and has accepted an AMT position with Delta Airlines in Atlanta, GA.

March 21, 2022, the Clifford Ball Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics student and Western Pennsylvania resident Jereme Thompson.  Mr. Thompson was previously trained and employed as a hospital nurse but decided his passion was closer to his twin brother's mechanical technician field.

November 24, 2021, The Aviation Foundation awarded Braden Brunson with the Fall 2021 TAF Clifford Ball Memorial Scholarship.     He is currently in 6th quarter studies at P. I. A.  for Aviation Maintenance Technician.                                 

The $2,500.00 tuition award was based upon a minimum of six requirements, including a GPA of 3.0 or higher and successfully completing the 4th quarter of education.  Securing the Clifford Ball Scholarship makes him eligible for the 7th quarter Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics $1,000.00 institutional award for a total of $3,500.00!

The Aviation Foundation congratulates  Braden for his impressive performance and wishes continued success throughout his aviation career.

The Aviation Foundation awarded March 19, 2021, Clifford Ball Memorial Scholarship to Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics student Brian Saylor, Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. 

 

 

The $2,500.00 tuition award was based upon a minimum of six requirements including, but not limited to, a GPA of 3.0 or higher and successfully completing the 4th quarter of education. Brian notably scored 126 out of a potential 130 eligibility points in the entire selection process! P.I.A. added $1,000.00 to Brian’s 7th and final quarter for an award total of $3,500.00!
